Mildred K. Stilwell, 96, of Oakland City, Indiana passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2017, at Golden Living Center in Evansville, IN.
She was born May 19, 1920 in Pike County, IN to Burch and Hazel (Brittain) Richardson.
She was an active member of the First General Baptist Church in Oakland City for more than 60 years.
She is survived by her 4 children; C. Darvin (Bonnie) Stilwell, Boonville, IN, Jerry D. (Judy) Stilwell, Princeton, IN, JoAnne (Glenn) Bayer, Green Bay, WS, Russell L. (Joanna) Stilwell, Boonville, IN; brothers; Gene & Randall Richardson, Princeton, IN; 8 grandchildren; Kerry Skelton (Kristen), Janna Skelton, Tom Stilwell (Rene), Kathryn McGregor (Iain), Greg Bayer (Tracy), Jason Bayer (Monica), Ben Stilwell (Amy) and Matt Stilwell (Lisa); and 16 great grandchildren; Jensen, Parker and Reese Skelton, Violet Stilwell, Lydia and Charlie McGregor, Zoe and Ainslie Kate Bayer, Isaac and Sofia Bayer, Cole, Joey, Taylor, Kailyn, Sloane and Blair Stilwell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 72 years, Charles Stilwell in 2012; brother Floyd Richardson & sister Cleda Folsom.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM (CST) on Friday, March 10, 2017 at the First General Baptist Church in Oakland City, with Rev. Alec Hensley and Jim Trentham officiating. Burial will be at the Townsley Cemetery, east of Mackey IN. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 pm (CST) on Thursday at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home and from 9 until 10 am on Friday at the First General Baptist Church all in Oakland City, IN.
