Tony Glenn Krug, 65, of
Owensville passed away on March 14 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville
surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Wabash County
IL the son of Donald F. and Gladys M. (Baumgeartner)
Krug on August 2 1951.
Tony was a truck driver for
Crabtree Trucking. He graduated from Mount Carmel High School the class of
1969. After graduating, he served his county in the US Navy on the USS Franklin
Roosevelt in the Mediterranean Sea. He is a member of the Mount Carmel VFW
#4276.
He is survived by his wife
of 33 years, Cynthia J Krug, they were married in 1983. Also surviving are six
children, Rachel, Adam and Nathan (Jamie) Krug, Kelly (Albert) Byrns, Kristie (Brian) Seibert and Kenny Treadway; 7
grandchildren Kash Krug, Aaron (Songa)
and Grant (Sonya) Byrns, Jessica (Charlie) Mason,
Jamie (Andrew) Anderson, Julie (Alex) Campbell and Taylor Treadway; 7 great
grandchildren Josa and Rylee Kerns, Mason and Gannon Byrns, Tucker and Sawyer Anderson and Savannah Mason; 5
siblings Nancy Perry, Vicki Stevens, Sally Healy, Nellie Jackman and Jeff Krug
and many nieces and nephews.
Tony was preceded in death
by parents, 2 sisters Sarah Greenleaf and Peggy Wilkinson, and 2 brothers Don
and Benny Krug.
Funeral service will be
Saturday, March 18 at 2pm at the Owensville General Baptist Church with Bob
Douglas officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday, March 18 from 1 until the
time of service.
