Alice Kiesel, 92, formerly known as Sister Gertrudis and Alice Julia Kiesel, returned to her maker on March 29, 2017.

Alice is survived by her brother, Elmer Kiesel and her sister, Dorothy Knapp of Haubstadt, Indiana. She has 63 nieces and nephews; numerous great nieces and nephews; as well as, her very best friend, Bonnie Peter and family, Doug, Angel, and Tyler.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Julia Kiesel; her brothers, Oscar, Cletus, Frank, and Henry Kiesel; her sisters, Hilda Hasenour, Mary Magdalen Mayer, and Norma Keil.

Visitation will be at St. Peter and Paul’s Church in Haubstadt, Indiana on Monday, April 3 from 9:00 to 10:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial.
