Lee Higgins, 87, passed away Saturday March 25, 2017 at Transcendent Health Care of Owensville.

He was born May 11, 1929 in Posey County to the late Lee DeWayne and Wilma (Hess) Higgins.

Lee worked and retired as a laborer from a plant in Matteson, IL.

He married Ruth Ann Harnishfeger whom preceded him in death in 2006.

Survivors include his siblings, Iva Mae Dyson, Donnie and Paul (Pat) Higgins; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee DeWayne Higgins and Wilma (Hess) Higgins Thompson; wife, Ruth Ann; siblings, Leona Jean Brown, Carl and William Harold Higgins.

Services will be Thursday March 30, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Holders Funeral Home with Paul Higgins, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the Poseyville Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until the service hour at the funeral home.
