Joyce Lee Harbison 85 of Princeton passed away on Saturday March 4, 2017 at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton, IN.
She was born October 12, 1931 in Oakland City to Agnes and Luther White.
She worked at Potter and Brumfield in Princeton for over 40 years.
Joyce was married to Fred Robert Harbison for 48 years who
preceded her in death.
Joyce spent a lot of time as a bowler on leagues in
Princeton at Gibson Lanes, she was also very talented in knitting, she made a
lot of sweaters and afghans for family members. Joyce lived most of her
adult life in Wheeling, IN where she made her home.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Fred, and
two brothers; Dr. Charles R. White of Oakland City, and Dale A. White of Eaton
Rapids, Michigan.
She is survived by her sister Janey
Burch of Princeton, step-daughter Angel(Aaron) Bellamy of Princeton, step-son
Nicholas Harbison of Pendleton, IN, sister in laws; Marietta White of Eaton
Rapids, MI, Carolyn White of Oakland City. Three step-grandchildren Chayanna Gomez, Chise Lott,
Spencer Lott, Kelsie Harbison several nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held Friday March 10, 2017 at 2 PM at Lamb Basham Memorial Chapel, Rev. Alec Hensley officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 11 AM until service time at the chapel. Burial will be at a later date at Mt. Olive Cemetery.
