Sylvia M. (Pugh) Watson, 72, passed away Monday, Feb. 20, 2017 at St. Mary’s Medical Center from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

She was born in Gibson County on January 20, 1945 to the late Marvin and Dorothy (Brown) Pugh.

Sylvia was a homemaker, member of the Nazarene church of Owensville where she was a Sunday school teacher.

She is survived by her daughter, Veda Mayer; 4 grandchildren, Nicole (Patrick) Adams, LeRoy (Whitney) and Brandy Mayer and Eliza Dill; 4 great-grandchildren, Nicolas, Joshua, Matthew and Sarah Adams; Siblings, Melvin, Ronnie and Damon Pugh.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 50 years, Leonard on October 5, 2016; siblings, Evelyn and Mary Jane Pugh, Shirley Schatz and Allen Pugh.

Services will be on Sunday Feb. 26, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Holders Funeral Home with Pastor Brad Delp officiating. Burial will be in the Maumee Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday Feb. 25, 2017 from 3-7 p.m.
