Mary Helen Sullivan, 86, of Petersburg, IN passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN.
Mary was born Monday, January 19, 1931 to Lossie and Irene (Catt) Hill. Mary worked 17 years at Pike
Central High School as a custodian and 8 years at the former Golden Living
Center in housekeeping.
On Saturday, January 13, 1951, she married Stanley Sullivan, who passed away in 2001; they were married 50 years.
Mary was a lifelong resident of the Union area, was a 1949 graduate of Hazleton High School and was a member of the Little Zion Primitive Baptist Church of Union.
Mary is survived by her son, Jeff (Terri) Sullivan of Patoka; her daughters, Sandy White of Evansville, Sherri Sullivan, and Tracy Greg Armstrong of Union; her brothers, Jim (Lois) Hill of Petersburg and Vesper Hill, both of Union; seven grandchildren: Jeremy White, Jeff White, Cody White, Jason Armstrong, Kyle Armstrong, Stephanie Page, and Marissa Breidenbaugh; ten great grandchildren; and special cousin, Peggy Jean Hyneman.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her
son, Stephen Sullivan.
The family has entrusted Doyle Funeral Home with
arrangements. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. CST on Monday, February 6,
2017 at the Little Zion Primitive Baptist Church located at 7767 W. SR65 in
Union, IN with Pastor Mitch Breidenbaugh officiating.
Internment will take place in Little Zion Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 5, 2017 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. CST at Doyle Funeral Home located at 520 S. Main Street, Princeton, IN 47670.
