Kevin Lee Knight, 38, of Owensville, and formerly of Princeton, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017.

He was born on July 8, 1978 in Oakland City.

He worked at Five Star Coal Mine in Petersburg for 5 years until it closed, then he worked for Paul France Construction.

He is survived by his children, Averie Knight of Princeton and Aidan Knight of Owensville; wife, Shelley Knight of Princeton; brothers and sisters, Jan Carter (Wayne) of Princeton, Bill Knight (Allison) of Ft. Branch, Sherrie Johnson (Bill) of Owensville, Karen Farmer (Jack) of Owensville, Rodney Knight (Rhonda) of Terre Haute and Melissa Fithian (Steve) of Owensville; special friends, Martha Angle of Princeton and Gary Harper of Owensville; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Knight in 2009.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Pastor Mike Douglas. Burial will be at the Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 pm on Saturday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
