Judy Whitten, 70, of Princeton, passed away Monday, January 9, 2017 at The Waters of Princeton.

She was born November 1, 1946 in Princeton to the late Walt and Dortha (Jenkins) Whitten and had resided in this area most of her lifetime.

Judy was a retired nurse having worked at several area nursing homes during her career.

She is survived by her son, Lonnie Whitten (Loida) of Princeton; 2 grandchildren, Mark and Maria; a brother, Tom Whitten (Katie) of Dawson, TX; 2 sisters, Sue E. Donnelly and Mary Summers both of Princeton; also several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a special friend, Richard Drew.

Graveside service will be held at 1:15 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Princeton, burial will follow. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton.
