Michael L. Townsend, 61, of Oakland City, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at his home.

He was born on February 10, 1955 in Wabash, IN to Robert & Mary Townsend, both deceased.

He worked in construction. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by his sister, Linda Townsend of California.

There will be no services. Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City has been entrusted with arrangements.
