Marty R. Houchin 58 of Oakland City entered rest on Wednesday January 11,2017
at his home.

He was born on Nov.17,1958 in Gibson County to Bryce & Shirley
(Garrison) Houchin.

He was preceded in death by parents and son Jordan Michael
Houchin.

Marty was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and former
member of Oakland City Fire Dept. Had worked at Alcoa Warrick Operations.

He is survived by wife of 5 years Mary (Bates) Houchin. Son: Joshua Houchin of Evansville, Daughters: Gabrielle Wiseman of Princeton and Alexandria Houchin of Petersburg, step-son Jeremy Smith of Princeton. Brother: Tony Houchin of Oakland City and two Grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday January 18,2017 10:00 A.M. at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel. Rev. Gene Burkhart officiating. Burial will take place in Montgomery Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday and from 8:00 A.M. until services on Wednesday at the chapel.
