Betty J. Witherspoon, (nee Hawkins), 84 of O’Fallon, MO and formerly of Haubstadt, Indiana, died on Tuesday December 6, 2016.

She was the loving wife of the late Ronald L. Witherspoon and beloved daughter of the late Robert L. and Carrie A. (Duncan) Hawkins.

She was a devoted mother of Debbie L. (Neil) Kohlfeld, Donna Crouch, and Tim (Teresa) Witherspoon; cherished grandmother of Michelle (Richard) McCrary along with seven other grandchildren; cherished great-grandmother of Carrie Hampshire and Jordan Faulkner along with three other great-grandchildren.

Betty was also preceded in death by her granddaughter Erica Faulkner.

Betty was a member of the Elberfeld Baptist Church and was loved by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her, especially her family.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Friday, December 9, 2016 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Rev. Jack Neighbors officiating. Burial will follow at the Francisco Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 am-1 pm on Friday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
