Floy R. Tichenor, 95 of Princeton, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at the Transcendent Healthcare in Owensville.

She was born November 28, 1921 in Gibson County to Arthur and Laura J. (Woods) Anderson. 

She retired as a floral designer from Karen’s Flower Shop, attended Columbia General Baptist Church, was a member of the Home Economics Club and Bridge Club; she loved traveling with her children and grandchildren. 

She is survived by her son, James A. (Marilyn) Tichenor of Princeton, three grandchildren, Kimberly Tichenor of Newburgh, Lisa (Ed) Hansen of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, Darrin Tichenor (Leah) of Princeton; four great grandchildren, Ty and Jake Tichenor of  Princeton and Alexis and Hunter Hansen of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband James T. Tichenor in 1992, two brothers Victor and Leon Anderson, two sisters Merle Brown and Marjorie Sharp.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 am on Monday, December 26, 2016 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Bob Douglas officiating.  Burial will be in the Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton, IN.  Visitation will be from 9 until 11 am on Monday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
