Michael A. Phillips 66 of Oakland City entered rest on Thursday Dec. 7,2016 at his
home.

He was born on November 17,1950 in Oakland City to Robert & Verneta
Lorene (Miller) Phillips.

Mike graduated from Wood Memorial High School in 1968 and Oakland City
University in 1972. He was a retired coal Miner from Old Ben Coal 1 and member of U.M.W.A. Also was a lifetime member of NRA and Bass Masters.

Michael was preceded in death his parents and sister Jane Ann Cockerham.

Survived by Sons: Adam Phillips of Oakland City & Andrew (Krystal) Phillips of
Prosper, Texas, grandchildren Marshall & Jameson Phillips.

There will be a casual gathering to remember Michael on Dec. 27,2016 at Oakland City Golf Club beginning at 5:00 P.M. Family has entrusted Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel for assistance.
