April May Ferry, 50 of Oakland City entered rest Friday December 23, 2016 at Deaconess Hospice Center in Evansville.

April was born June 25, 1966 in Washington, Missouri to John and Mary Alice (Georges) Ferry.

She was a member of First General Baptist Church of Oakland City, she worked at Union Furniture in repair and rubbing department, founding member of the Gibson County Storm Patrol, and CERT.

She is preceded in death by her mother Mary Alice Ferry (2004).

She is survived by her father John (Vada) Ferry of Oakland City, brother Brian Ferry of Forest Hill, IN, two nieces; Ember (Zane) Stewart, Karla Ferry.

Service will be Thursday December 29, 2016 at 6:00 PM at Lamb Basham Memorial Chapel, Rev. Alec Hensley officiating. Visitation will be Thursday 2:00 PM until service time.
