Anieta Sue (Garrett) Almon,
78, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016 at the Deaconess VNA Hospice
Center.
Sue was born January 7,
1938 to the late Violet Marie (Marshall) and Marion Garrett.
Sue graduated from
Owensville High School class of 1956.She was married to her loving husband and
best friend Jack they were married for 59 years. He preceded her in death on
June 20, 2016.
Sue farmed right beside
him for many years as well as keeping their home and raising their three
children. She was a very active member of the Maumee General Baptist Church
serving as choir director for many years and a member of the Ladies Missionary
group.
She is survived by her
children, Phil (Jaymie) Almon, Wendi (Gary) Pegram; daughter-in-law, Angie Almon;
5 grandchildren, Ryan (Courtney), Tyler (Hayli) and
Lauren Almon, Chelsi and Shelbi Pegram;
1 great-granddaughter, Annistyn Almon:
brother, Mike (Irma) Garrett.
Sue was preceded in
death by her parents, husband, son, Roy L. Almon;
brother, Marion Hollis Garrett. Services will be held at noon on Monday
December 26, 2016 at Maumee General Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Nelson and
Kevin Miley officiating. Burial will be in the Maumee Cemetery. Visitation will
be from 10:00 a.m. until the service time at the church.
