Rick V. Phillips 57 of Princeton, IN entered rest on Thursday November 17,2016 at his home.

He was born on Feb. 21,1959 in Washington, IN to Millard (Buster) and Mae Kathryn (Welton) Phillips who lives in Petersburg,IN

He worked as a maintenance technician at Christmas Lake Village in Santa Claus, IN, he previously has worked at Four Star and Onyett Welding. He is a graduate of Pike Central High School class of 1977, and attended Oakland City University.

He is survived by his parents, mother of children/caregiver; Kimberly Risley Phillips of Princeton, Daughters; Katie Jo Phillips (Nathan Quinn) of Princeton, Heather (BJ) Sorgius of Petersburg, Son; Matthew (Tara) Phillips of Princeton. Grandchildren; Quinton, Kendric, Lakin, and Channing Sorgius; Kiera and Bryleigh Phillips. Sister; Debbie (Mark) Hopf of Petersburg. 

Services will be Monday November 21, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. (Oakland City time) at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with burial in Martin cemetery. Rev. Anisa Evans will officiate the celebration services Visitation will be Sunday November 20, 2016 from 4:00-7:00 P.M. (Oakland City time) and 8:00 until service time on Monday.
