Charles Franklin McClure, 75 of Oakland City entered rest on Friday November 18, 2016 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.

He was born on June 12,1941 in Augusta to Ernest and Martha (Hopper) McClure. Frank was a maintenance away employee with A.W.&W Railroad for 32 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister Janet Murphy.

He is survived by wife of 55 years Dixie (Kirk) McClure, daughter Kim (McClure) (Mike) Ross of Oakland City, Son Doug (Cindy) McClure of Francisco, granddaughters; Amanda Ross, Shayla Meny, Haley Burkhart, Jana Allerellie, grandson; Adam Ross, great grandchildren; Austin and Adam Meny, a brother Robert McClure, two nieces, and one nephew.

Services will be Tuesday November 22, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with burial in Montgomery Cemetery, Rev. Darin D. Nossett officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Monday November 21 at the funeral home, and 8:00 Tuesday until service time.
