Robert “Bobby” E. Heldt, 60, of Francisco, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

He was born on June 16, 1956 in Evansville to Ervin “Dale” & Shirley (McKinney) Heldt.

He worked in the sales department for F & M Building & Lumber Co.  He was a very active member of the Gentle Shepherd Church of God.  Bobby enjoyed roping & riding horses, cooking, building things, deer hunting, trips to the Pike County State Forest and everything that involved his family.

He is survived by his wife Shawna (Riley) Heldt of Francisco; parents Dale & Shirley Heldt, Francisco;  children:  Janice (Eric) Lamb, Haubstadt, Jackie (David) Coomer, Princeton, Laura (Dave) Ball, Oakland City, Jamond Heldt, Francisco, Logan Fettinger, Evansville & McKenna Heldt, Vincennes; 2 brothers Tim (Sherri) Heldt, Floyds Knob & Alan (Carrie) Heldt, Owensville; 6 grandchildren:  Gavin, Josslin, Rhett, Kaiden, Madison, Zen and 1 on the way.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Kyah.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Pastor Judy Williams officiating.  Burial will be at the Atkinson Chapel Cemetery, Oatsville. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. on Monday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
