William Burkhart, 62, of Princeton, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2016 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

He was born on October 17, 1954 to Carolyn (Todd) Tolbert and William Burkhart.

William worked construction most of his life and loved his family.

Surviving are his children, Tracie Walton of Texas, April and Tara Burkhart of Indianapolis and Brett and Alec Burkhart; 3 grandsons, Stephan, Kellan and Kaiden; mother, Carolyn Tolbert of Princeton; sisters, Billie (Mike) Wildt and Jeannie Lawn; brothers, Jeff (Kim) Burkhart, John (Tammy) Burkhart and Mike Burkhart; several nieces and nephews; and special persons, Jo Burkhart and Jim Miskell.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Burkhart; stepfather, Buddy Tolbert; brother, James Burkhart; and brother-in-law, Wes Lawn.

Graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton, with Rev. Bob McDonald officiating. There will be no visitation.
