Harry Leonard Watson, 79, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Gibson General Hospital skilled nursing facility.

He was born in Gibson County September 28, 1937 to the late Lora Watson.

Leonard worked for the Gibson County Solid Waste Department for 37 years. He had a passion for what he would call junking people that new him well appreciated that in him.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sylvia M. (Pugh) Watson; daughter, Veda Mayer; 4 grandchildren, Nicole, LeRoy, Brandy Mayer and Eliza Dill; 4 great-grandchildren, Nicolas, Joshua, Matthew and Sarah Adams; also by his loving pets.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Services will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville with Pastor Brad Delp officiating. Burial will be in the Maumee Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 2-7 pm at the funeral home.
