William “Bill” M. Rowe 74, of Winslow entered rest on Friday October 14,2016 at his home.

Bill was born on February 11, 1942 in Ft. Branch, IN to William T. and Ruth (Royalty) Rowe.


Bill was a Military Veteran, member of the Muren Church of God, retired from AMAX Coal Company- Wabash Mine, where he worked for 29 years, member of U.M.W.A, he also worked for 12 years at Whirlpool Corporation in Evansville and the Oakland City American Legion #256.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Jerry Rowe, a sister Sharon Boost, and a daughter Lisa Rowe and grandson Landon Rowe.

Survived by wife of 55 years; Sandy (McCandless) Rowe, Daughter Regina (Terry) Woolsey, Winslow, Sons Eric, Ryan, Mike(Connie) Rowe all of Winslow, sisters Brenda Hayes, Sharlett Sills, both of Oakland City, seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren. 

Services will be Tuesday October 18, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. (Pike County Time) at Lamb Basham Memorial Chapel, burial in Williams Cemetery with Rev. Clint Woolsey officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00-8:00 P.M. (Pike County) and Tuesday 9:00 A.M. until service time.
