Brenda J. Pinnell, 65, of Oakland City went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, October 7, passing from this life in her sleep.

She was born on Oct 21,1950 in Princeton, IN to Charles McKinney and
Virginia (Townsend) Conner.

Brenda served as Secretary/Business Administrator at Oasis Assembly of God in Princeton, Indiana for 39 years. In addition, she was also secretary for Temple Christian Academy at the church from 1978 thru 1991. Brenda was a tremendous blessing to the entire congregation and student body and will be greatly missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband Gerald Pinnell in March 5,2009 and Sister Donna McKinney.

She is survived by Son: Jeremy Pinnell of Oakland City IN., Daughter: Andrea Pinnell of Poseyville, IN. Grandchildren: Josh Pinnell, Zane, Caleb and Savannah Armstrong; Sisters: Linda (Glenn)Hamer of Mitchell, IN, Tambra (Mike)DeLong of Plant City, FL and Stacy (Edward) Bolt of Alamogordo, NM. 

Funeral services will be Friday Oct. 14,2009 10: 00 A.M.at Oasis Assembly of God Church in Princeton, IN. with Rev. Mike Marsh officiating, burial in Decker Chapel Cemetery near Patoka, IN. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday at the Church and from 8:00 A.M. until services on Friday at the Church. Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel is assisting family with services.
