Beulah “Bea” Heacock Owens 87 of Evansville formerly of Oakland City entered rest on Monday Oct. 24, 2016 at Deaconess Hospice in Evansville, IN. 

She was born on Feb. 20,1929 in Oakland City to Ross and Lulia (Wise) Foley.

Beulah “Bea” was employed at Wirth Hospital for 30 years as a dietician, member of Northwood Church in Evansville, also an associate member of the UMWA.

Beulah was preceded in death by first Husband James “Bud” Heacock in 1994, son Steven Heacock in 2001, a great grandchild Lucinda Bleemel, brothers and sisters. 

She is survived by Husband of 12 years Lawrence Owens of Evansville, Son Richard Heacock of Oakland City, Daughter Cindy Goad of Evansville, step- sons: Jim Owens of Princeton, Kelly Owens of Madison, step-daughter: Joyce Owens of Evansville, nieces: Linda Williams, Jane Ellen Haag and Dixie Garnett and nephew Jimmy Minnis 17 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren.

Services will be Friday October 28 2016, at 10:00 A.M. at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with burial in Montgomery Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday October 27, 2016 4:00-8:00 P.M. and Friday 8:00 A.M. until service time. Rev. Bobby Pell will be officiating;
