Matthew Craig Luecking, 44, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2016 at his residence in Terre Haute, IN.
He was born on Leap Day, February 29, 1972, in Evansville to David and Janet Luecking.
Matt was a graduate of Indiana State University and worked at Terre Haute Savings Bank. The sole owner and operator of Showtime Music for the last 26 years, Matt rocked parties, weddings, and for anyone who wanted to have a great time. Additionally, Matt held several positions at various Wabash Valley radio stations throughout the last 20 years, ranging from on-air personality to Program Director. Matt had wide-ranging interests including watching Indiana State basketball, playing basketball with friends, and participating in a tennis league. More importantly, community service was at his core as a member of the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce. His contributions to the community were vast.
He is survived by his mother, Janet Robinson, of Princeton; a brother, Eric (Cara) Luecking and a niece and nephew, of Greenwood; an aunt, Kay (Ronnie) Parke, of Oakland City; a cousin, Adam (Kendra) Parke and their children, of Oakland City; a cousin Alissa (Nathan) Tooley and their children, of Princeton; a great-aunt, Frances Luff, of Princeton; a step-brother, Duke Robinson, of Princeton; and girlfriend Tiffany Heaton and her children, of Terre Haute.
Matt was preceded in death by his father, David Luecking in 1979, his grandparents, and stepfather David R. Robinson.
Visitation will be held at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton on Friday from 3 until 7 pm CDT and on Saturday from 11 am until service time CDT. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 2 pm CDT with Dr. Douglas Low officiating. Family and friends will go in procession to Maple Hill Cemetery.
