Karen S. Pickett, 71, of Francisco, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Deaconess VNA Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville.
She was born April 15, 1945 in Evansville, Indiana.
She helped her husband with his wrecker business, Pickett’s Wrecker Service.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Pickett of Francisco; children, James (Dawn) Conner of Virginia, Lisa Cropper of Arkansas, Tammy Eskew of Pennsylvania, Crystal Pickett-Marchal of Oakland City, Clifford Pickett-Eskew of Francisco and William “Jack” Pickett-McAvoy and Samantha Lawrence-McAvoy of Petersburg; grandchildren, Hayden Walters, Jim and David Conner, Daniel McAvoy, Jessica, Elaine, Kelley and Patrick McHugh and Tyler and Dewayne Cropper; great grandchildren, Zoey McAvoy, Zack and Cecilia Morris and Hunter and Michael McHugh; brother and sister, Sandy Raisor and Bradley Gentry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Resenbeck and Anita (Eldridge) Gentry; daughter, Jacqueline Michelle Pickett- McAvoy; and a grandson, Joseph Gabriel Pickett-McAvoy.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 am on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Rev. Matt Malin officiating. Burial will be in the Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be from 1 pm until 8 pm on Friday and from 8 am until service time on Saturday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
