Thomas L. Hyneman, 76, of Princeton passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 after a brief illness.
He was born May 1, 1940 in Vincennes to Russell A. Hyneman and Alice Marie (Myers) Hyneman.
He grew up in Princeton and served in the US Navy. He was a retired coal miner having put in over 30 years at Wabash Mine in Keensburg, IL. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, big bonfires, hayrides, yard work, and raising his peacocks.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Lana Hyneman, his daughter and son-in-law, Misty and Matthew Lundberg of Princeton. Also surviving are his two sisters, Doris Ann Glover of Owensville, Mary Lou Bechtler of New Jersey, and a brother Donald Hyneman of Francisco.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Roger T. Hyneman, William Hyneman, and Russell "Dutch" Hyneman.
Funeral services will be 10 am Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Andrew Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 until 8 pm on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Linton, Indiana. Military rites will be provided by the Retired Military Veterans.
