Charlene Frazier, 79, of Patoka, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at the Gibson General Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility in Princeton.
She was born on November 25, 1936 in Paducah, KY to Burton T. and Mattie (Cornwell) Hill.
She was married to Lovell A. Frazier on May 30, 1953.
She was a homemaker. She was also a teacher at Pat Taylor’s Nursery School and Gray Lady at Baldwin Heights and Brumfield Elementary. She was a member of the Patoka United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her 2 sons, Steve (Tonya) Frazier of Princeton and Turner (Tameka) Frazier of Hazleton; daughter, Cheryl (Tony) Freeman of Evansville; 5 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lovell in August 2015, a brother and a sister.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Pastor Jeff Pinney officiating. Burial will be in the Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 pm on Tuesday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
