Alissa J. Davis, 10, of Patoka, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.

She was born June 20, 2006 in Newburgh, Indiana.

She was a student at Fort Branch Community School. She taught many people the true meaning of life! Her family is very appreciative of everyone at the Fort Branch Community School for their care, concern and acceptance of her, for who she was!

She is survived by her mother, Vickie Bruce of Patoka; her father, David Davis (Rhonda) of Princeton; her six siblings, Alexis, Abigail, Jerrod, Jonathan, Stephen and Elizabeth; her grandparents, Elizabeth Bruce of Patoka, Jerry Davis of Princeton and Bonnie McGowen of Princeton; also several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Kenny Bruce.

A celebration of Alissa’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 8, 2016 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Pastor Mark Massaro officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Patoka. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Monday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
