Dwight M. Cousert, 82 of
Francisco, IN entered rest on Saturday August 27,2016
at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN.
He was born in Francisco, on August 8,1934 in to Marvin
& Blanche (Ahlemann) Cousert.
He is preceded in death by: his parents, former wife Jessie,
step son Steven Ivy, son in law Jerry Doane, sister
in law Janice Williams, mother and father in law Lester and Cora Williams.
Dwight had served in the National Guard for 13 years, He was
a farmer all of his life, a carpenter, an engineer making plans for many
houses and church life centers, he made maple syrup for the last three years.
He was a member of the Providence Primitive Baptist Church where he served as
deacon and trustee, trustee of the Providence Cemetery. Dwight graduated from Mackey
High School class of 1952.
Survived by wife of 40 years Connie (Williams) Cousert.
Son: Marvin Keith Cousert, Francisco, IN, and five
daughters Rhonda G. Grubb (Jerry) Oakland City, Karen S. Riley (George) and
Diana Cousert (Tim Miller), Francisco, Carol S. Schlimmer (Perry), Booneville, Jamie Kay Strickland(Alan),
Princeton. Brother: John O. (Teresa) Cousert of
Evansville, IN.
Grandchildren: George Riley III (Beth), Joshua Riley, Christina(Grubb) Hoskins
(Michael), Uriah Cousert, Kristen (Doane) Creasey (Kyle), Jeremy Doane, Brian Hedge (Andrea), Emily(Hedge) Rexing (Phil), Sara Hedge, Jessica Hedge, Lillian
Strickland. Also had 12 Great-Grandchildren and several step-grandchildren.
Services will be 10 A.M. Thursday September 1, 2016 at Providence Primitive Baptist Church with Rev. Mitch Breidenbaugh officiating. Burial in Providence Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 P.M. Wednesday August 31, 2016 at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel and from 8 A.M. until services at the Church.
