He was born on August 2, 1938 in Cynthiana, IN. 

He was an iron worker.

He is survived by his children: Jade Bruce of Branchville, IN, Robbie Cooper of Evansville, IN, Tanya Ashby of Boonville, IN. His mother: Mary Bruce, Oakland City, IN. His brothers and sisters: Wilford D. Smith of Evansville, IN, Betty Young of Marengo, IN, George Bruce, Winslow, IN, Carol Vickers of Glezen, Yvonne Poteet of Petersburg, Richard Bruce, Michael Bruce, Gloria Morgan, Kevin Bruce, Rebecca Houchin, all of Oakland City, and several grandchildren.

Services will be held at Lamb- Basham Memorial Chapel 1 PM Tuesday August 16, 2016 with visitation from 11:00 AM until service, with Bro. George Bruce officiating. Burial will be at Davis Cemetery near Oakland City. (East of town in Pike County.)
