Charles Ronald Lee McGillem, 37, of Ft. Branch, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2016.

He was born on October 24, 1978 in Princeton, Indiana to Charles and Ellen “Penny” (Miller) McGillem.

He was a trained weather spotter. He was always helping others, including helping tirelessly for benefits for local cancer survivors. He never knew a stranger.

He is survived by his wife, Chrissy of Ft. Branch; 3 children, Brandon Beadles, Kane McGillem (Samantha Harvey) and Alyssa McGillem; 1 granddaughter, Autumn McGillem; parents, Charles and Penny McGillem of Patoka; brother, Chris (Crystal) McGillem of Princeton; step-sister, Crystal Parkes of Miami, FL; grandparents, Mary McGillem and Darrell Bullock; father and mother-in-law, Melvin & Carol Rice; sister-in-law, Lori (James) Wilkerson; niece and nephews, Marissa and Christopher McGillem and Vayden and Vance Wilkerson.

He is preceded in death by grandparents, Charles McGillem and Donna Bullock.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton.  Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Ft. Branch.

Visitation will be from 11 AM until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
