Bernard Neil Bailey Jr. 68, of Princeton, IN passed away on Monday, June 27, 2016 at his home.

He was born on Tuesday, December 2, 1947 in Aurora, IL to Bernard Neil Sr. & Leona Lee (Homer) Bailey.

Bernard was a chef with the Kings Kitchen of Henderson KY.

On March 7, 2001, in Telluride, CO he married Cindy Hume.

Bernard served in the U.S. Navy until 1972.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Bailey of Princeton. He is also survived by his nephew, Gregory Reed and great nephews, Greggie Reed and Yotam Reed as well as sister, Janet Depuis of DeKalb, IL.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

There will be a time of remembrance on Saturday, August 20, 2016, from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the Oakland City Fire Station, located at 314 N. Main St, Oakland City, IN.

The family has entrusted Doyle Funeral Home, 520 S. Main St, Princeton, IN with arrangements.
