Ruth E. “Bootsie” Thompson 88 of Francisco, IN entered rest on Saturday May 14, 2016 at her home.

She was born on August 27,1927 in Oakland City to DeFount & Ruth (Vierling) Thompson.

Ruth had worked for 50 years and Hansen Manufacturing in Princeton, IN; and was a member of Francisco United Methodist Church.

Ruth was preceded in death by her Parents, Sister Dorothea Jean Pond, two nieces Pamela & Becky Pond.

Ruth was Past President of Indiana Assembly of Rebekahs. 

Survived by Nephew: David (Vicki) Pond of Francisco, IN. 
Great Niece: Abby Pond of Franciso, IN. 
Great Nephews: Christopher(Melissa) and Jesse Pond of Francisco, IN. 

Services will be at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday May 17,2016 at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with burial in Providence Cemetery in Francisco, IN. Rev. Rick Lance officiating.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Monday and from 8:00 A.M until services on Tuesday at chapel.
