Brenda S. Thomas, 71, of Oakland City, Indiana passed away on Monday, May 9, 2016 at her home in Oakland City.

She was born August 28, 1944 in Oakland City, IN to Kenneth and Mable (Jeide) Kramer, both preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Oakland City. She retired in 2012 from Good Samaritan Home & Rehab in Oakland City.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert Thomas of Oakland City; 2 children, Amanda (Troy) Chambers of Ft. Branch and Erin (Ty) Smith of Indianapolis; 3 grandchildren, Madison, Graysen and Lane; sister, Vonda Fravel; brother, Dennis Kramer; and her loving cats, Hallie and Bella.

There will be no services. Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City has been entrusted with arrangements.
