William F.
Steiner, 95, lifetime resident of the Francisco area, passed away on Tuesday,
May 3, 2016 at North Park Nursing Home in Evansville, IN.
He was born on
October 22, 1920 in Princeton, IN to Frank L. and Reatha
(Herman) Steiner.
He was a retired
farmer and formerly worked at Princeton Gardens. He was a former member of the
Faith United Methodist Church in Princeton and a current member of the
Francisco United Methodist Church. He enjoyed farming, working puzzles and
cracking pecans to share with friends and neighbors.
He is survived
by his wife, Goldia Steiner of Francisco; son, Bruce
Steiner (Linda) of Princeton; daughter, Judy Steiner-Williams (Jim) of
Bloomington, IN; grandchildren, Ryan McClain of South Bend, Alan McClain of
Alaska, Matthew Steiner of Princeton, Kristen Self of Princeton, Andrew Steiner
of Princeton, Samuel Steiner of Princeton and Mikayla Steiner of Princeton; 6
great grandchildren, Evan, Colin, Morgan, Torrey, Talus and Addy;
brother-in-law, Nelson Brammer of Evansville.
He was preceded
in death by his parents; and a sister, Floetta Graetz.
Funeral Services
will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Colvin Funeral Home in
Princeton, officiated by Rev. Rick Lance. Burial will be at Walnut Hill
Cemetery in Ft. Branch.
Visitation will
be from 4 until 7 pm on Saturday and from noon until service time on Sunday at
the funeral home.
