Dorothy C.
Robinson, 90, of Princeton, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at the Good
Samaritan Home in Oakland City.
She was born
September22, 1925 in Princeton to W. Paul and Hazle
(Binkley) Carey.
She retired in
1988 after working for 13 years in the office at Gibson General Hospital in
Princeton. She was a member of Hillside United Methodist Church in Princeton.
She is survived
by her sons, Christopher Robinson (Kathy) and Mark Robinson all of Princeton;
two grandchildren, Dee Laney Hunter Bolden (Shawn) and Laura Robinson Burkett
(Chris); two great grandchildren, Riken and Leighton Burkett; two nieces and
two nephews.
She was preceded
in death by her parents; her husband, Richard M. Robinson in 1974; a great
grandchild, Brylee Addison Burkett; two sisters, Mary Alyce
Braxton and Martha Carey; an aunt, Mabel Carey Scott; and a nephew, David
Braxton.
Funeral services
will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2016 Graveside at the Columbia White
Church Cemetery in Princeton, with Rev. Jarmon Perkins officiating, burial will
follow. There will be no visitation.
Friends are
asked to gather at the cemetery for the services. Colvin Funeral Home in
Princeton has been entrusted with arrangements.
