Evelyn O. Money, 98, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2016 at New Harmonie Healthcare in New Harmony, IN.

She was born to the late Floyd and Esther (Freeman) Cress on Apr. 25, 1918 in Fillmore, IL

Evelyn was raised for 14 years as a child at the Carmi Baptist Orphanage in Carmi, IL.  She loved to raise flowers and to be with her friends.

Besides her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband Charles H. Money, who passed away in 1988, 1 sister Helen Collins a grandson, Kenneth Money, 3 son in-laws, Louis Schaefer, Bob Buck, and Jim DeCorrevont, and 1 daughter in-Law, Amy Money.

Evelyn is survived by 4 children, Allen Ray Money of Saucier, Miss. Helen Schaefer of Mt. Vernon, IN, Carole DeCorrevont of Lynnville, IN, and Steve Money of Fort Branch, IN, 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and several step grandchildren.  She also survived by 2 special friends, Vonda Ross of Owensville, IN, and Lou Meuche of Jacksonville, FL.

Services will be on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch, IN, with Pastor Tammy Scheller officiating.  Burial will be in Locust Hill Cemetery in Evansville, IN.

Visitation will be on Friday May 6, 2016 from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
