Pamela J. Woods, 56, of Oakland City, where
she was a lifetime resident, was taken to be with the Lord, April 1,
2016.
She was born July 24, 1959 in Evansville,
IN.
She loved her dachshunds, singing, karaoking, traveling, her family and co-workers and giving
the greatest hugs. She was an avid reader and bird watcher. Pamela
worked at the Princeton Daily Clarion for 17 years and Best One Warehouse for
20 years. She graduated from Wood Memorial High School in 1977 and
attended services at Mackey Nazarene Church.
She is
survived by her husband of 30 years, Mickey Woods; three sons: Michael,
Dustin (Jennifer) and Jordan Woods; brother Lowell (Lisa) Tyring;
sister Janice (Richard) Majors; grandsons: Jackson Stanton and Jeffrey Hale and
many nieces and nephews.
She was
preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth & Ruth Aileen Tyring.
Funeral
Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Corn-Colvin
Funeral Home in Oakland City. Burial will be at Spurgeon Cemetery in
Spurgeon, IN.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. on
Tuesday, April 5 and from 9 until 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 6.
