Max D. Vore,
79, of Princeton passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Deaconess Gateway
Hospital in Newburgh, IN.
He was born on August 16,
1936 in Hazleton, IN to Glenn and Florence (Lewis) Vore.
He retired in 2005 from
Teamsters Local 215. Max was a Korean War Veteran. He also was a lifetime
member of the VFW.
He is survived by his wife
of 56 years, Kay (Brines) Vore of Princeton;
daughters, Kim (Bill) Pflug of Evansville and Sheri
Cole-Greene of Princeton; grandchildren, Joshua (Arica) Cole, Jared (Katy)
Cole, Christopher Vore all of Princeton, Ryan
(Courtney) Pflug of Evansville and Sarah Kay Vore of Universal, IN; great grandchildren, Hayden, Halle
and Aubree Cole, Ryder and Roxie Cole all of Princeton, Jax
Vore of Mt Carmel, Holden, Aaden, Keegan & Payton
Boatman all of Universal, IN; brother, Harold Vore of
Oakland City; 2 sisters, Violet Bryns of Evansville
and Donna Kay Hallam; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephew.
He was preceded in death by
his parents; son, Max Wade Vore; brothers, Glen
“Bud”, Virgil “Doc”, Bruce and Larry Vore; sisters,
Mona Vore, Peggy Stroup and Bonnie Barrett. Graveside
Services will be held at 2:30 pm on Friday, April 15, 2016 at Columbia White
Church Cemetery in Princeton, officiated by Rev. Larry Meadows. Burial will
follow.
There will be no public
visitation; friends will meet at the cemetery for services. Military Graveside
services will be conducted by Retired Military Veterans.
