Mildred “Mid” D. Osborne, 87, of Francisco, IN passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016 at the Waters of Princeton.

She was born April 23, 1929 in Francisco, IN to Finis and Gertrude (Robling) Edwards.

She lived in Francisco most of her life. She enjoyed ceramics, working in her yard, growing flowers, and spending time with her grandchildren. She had attended the Francisco Nazarene Church. Her family spanned 5 generations.

Surviving are her 3 children, Sandra (Virgil) Helm of New Bloomfield, MO, Donna (Roy) Lynch, and Stanley Osborne all of Princeton; special friend, Jim Burns of Francisco; 4 grandchildren, Terri Dawn (Mike) Cross, Bobbi Jo (Brian) Seib, Crystal Osborne, and Joey (Cara) Osborne; 7 great grandchildren, Brittany (Chris) Cross, Cody (Camilla) Cross, Brody Seib, Sereniti Osborne, Haidyn Osborne, Jaxson Osborne and Caden Osborne; 2 great-great grandchildren, Paytyn Wilkerson and Larissa Cross; brother, Duard “Dude” (Shirley) Edwards of Oakland City; and a sister, Margaret (Dick) Mason of Princeton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John “Shorty” Osborne in 1991; son, Terrill Lynn Osborne; grandson, Scotty Osborne; and a sister, Melva Ott.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM on Friday, April 29, 2016 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Pastor Jonathan Scott officiating. Burial will be in the Francisco Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 PM on Thursday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
