Naomi Rose Jarvis, 82 went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at the Gibson General Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility in Princeton.

She was born March 8, 1934 in Princeton to Alvin and Locie (Smith) Jarvis.

She had lived in Princeton all of her life and graduated from P.H.S. in 1952. She retired as bookkeeper for Standard Printing Company in Princeton where she worked for 36 years. She had attended the Oasis Assembly of God Church in Princeton. She loved to talk about the Lord and was compassionate toward others.

She is survived by 2 sisters, Virginia Houchins and Carol Linxwiler both of Princeton; 6 nephews, Dale, Dennis and Randy Young, Tony, Stanley and Gary Jarvis; 3 nieces, Sandra Boling, Kristina Harper and Kristy Jarvis; several great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Locie Jarvis; step-mother, Lillie Jarvis; sister, Martha Jarvis Morris; 2 brothers, Gilbert and Harvey Jarvis and a nephew Michael Jarvis.

Funeral services will be at 2 pm on Sunday April 24, 2016 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. Burial will follow in the Warnock Cemetery in Princeton.

Visitation will be from 12 pm until the service time on Sunday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
