Marjorie Christina Courtney, Age 88, born in Oakland City, Indiana on 12/11/1927, passed away on 4/15/2016 at John and Betty Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville, Indiana.

She was a graduate of Reitz High School, an LPN and retired from St. Mary's Hospital. She previously worked for A & P for almost 25 years in Mt. Vernon, IN; Memphis, TN; Clarksville, TN; and Evansville, IN; and until recently had resided in Evansville since 1954.

She was of the General Baptist faith and preceded in death by her parents Mary Sylvia (Jaynes) Loveless and Columbus Loveless; two older sisters Janieve and Lydia Rose; two older brothers, James and Joseph, and infant brother John.

Surviving are one daughter, Mary Jo Lee, son-in-law Morris of Owensboro, Kentucky, and one grandson, Jon David Willingham of New York City, NY.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at Transcendent Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Boonville, Indiana for their excellent and compassionate care. Also gratitude is expressed to John and Betty Charlier Hospice Center, Evansville, Indiana.

Services and burial will be private. Family has entrusted Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel for assistance.
