Bobby “Bob” J. Ward, 76, of Princeton passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN.

He was born on December 2, 1939 in Princeton, IN to Elmer Ray and Janeva (Koerner) Ward.

He was in the US Army Reserves from 1963-1968. He worked for John’s Dental Lab as a Dental Tech for over 30 years and also was a concrete finisher for Ward Brothers for many years. He attended the Oasis Assembly of God in Princeton.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Geraldine “Jerrie” Ward of Princeton; son & daughter-in-law, Curt (Stephanie) Ward of Princeton; 5 grandchildren, Chris Ward, Stephanie Ward, Melinda Robinson, Joshua Robinson and Zachary Ward; 3 great grandchildren, Jazlyn Geer, Skylar Ward and Jordan Ward; brother, Don (Dee) Ward of Oakland City; and 2 sisters, Bonnie (Bob) Satterfield of Princeton and Connie (Denny) Schuh of Palm Desert, CA.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Stephen Joe Ward in 1988; infant son, Brian Joe Ward; brother, Bill Ward; and sister, Judy Whitehouse. Funeral

Services will be held at 1 pm on Friday, April 1, 2016 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Pastor Mike Marsh and Joe Keenan. Burial will be in the Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
