James Tod Weaver, 54, died unexpectedly at his home in Patoka, IN on Saturday, February 27, 2016.

He was born on March 30, 1961 in Fostoria to Ralph “Bud” & Lois (Stiffler) Weaver.

Tod was a 1979 Lakota High School graduate.

He raised and sold livestock and many saw him as being the best sheep fitter in the country. Tod was a flock manager and adopted family member of the 5 Star J Farms Operation in Patoka, IN. Tod was a member of the 4 T’s and C fitting Company. He never missed a day of work in the Barn and was at home in the show ring with his sheep family and friends. Tod was a gentle soul who loved his family, friends, and animals. His big heart and sarcastic whit will be missed by all.

Surviving Tod is his mother, Lois Ann Weaver of Fremont; daughter, Regena (David “Jeremy”) Irwin of Cuba, IL; grandchildren Braylee, Ryut & Cage Irwin; brother, John (Anna) Weaver of Columbus, OH; and nephews, John & Buddy Weaver.

He is preceded in death by his dad.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 3rd 2016 from 5-8 P.M. at the Herman-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 319 W. Madison St., Gibsonburg, OH 43431.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 4th at 10 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Quinshan Cemetery. Local arrangements by Doyle Funeral Home in Princeton, IN
