Roy A. Robinson 75, of Princeton passed peacefully at his home Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016.
He was born Aug. 12, 1940, in Russellville, Kentucky, to Charles and Laura (Morgan) Robinson, both.
He lived in the Princeton area for 24 years and was employed as a pipe tester for Wayne Granger in Texas.
On May 2,1968 in Owensville, he was married to Linda Floyd.
Mr. Robinson is a Vietnam War veteran of the U.S. Army separated from service in 1965.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda Robinson of Princeton, and sons; Roy S. Robinson, Rickie Robinson and Wesley Robinson all of Princeton. He is also survived by brothers; Charles O. Robinson of Johnson, Steve Robinson of Oakland City, Larry (Brenda) Robinson of Illinois and Bill Robinson of Lynnville. Other survivors include sisters; Judy (Raymond) Peach of Johnson, Elsie Clem of Tennessee, Shirley Christie of Princeton, Sandy of Evansville, as well as Bonnie and Linda. Also surviving are grandchildren; Jonathan Manuel of Princeton and Olivia M. Robinson of Evansville.
Mr. Robinson is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Bobby Robinson and sister, Edna Spencer.
There are no scheduled service, and cremation will take place. The family has entrusted arrangements with Doyle Funeral Home at 520 S. Main Street, Princeton. For more information, call 812-385-4334.
