Loretta L. Virden Richards, 74 of Princeton passed
away Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016 at the Deaconess VNA Charlier
Hospice Center in Evansville.
She was born Mar. 23, 1941 in Princeton, to Lawrence
and Beatrice (Kellams) Walker.
She had lived in Princeton all of her life. She
retired from Hansen Manufacturing where she worked for 35 years. She
enjoyed and loved her family especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by a son, Troy (Joyce) Virden of
Owensville, daughter, Tina Virden of Evansville; brother, James (Louise) Walker
of Princeton; 3 grandchildren, Felicia (Jon) Carpenter, Nicholas Virden and
Travis Virden and 1 great grandchild, Jenna Virden and another great
grandchild, Avalynn Carpenter to be born in April.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband
William Virden in 1985, and a sister Juanita Cargal.
Funeral services will be held at the graveside 2 p.m.
Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at the Oddfellows Cemetery in Princeton, with Rev.
Nathaniel Denning officiating. Burial will follow the services.
There will be no public visitation. Friends will
meet at the cemetery for the services. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton has
been entrusted with the arrangements.
