Bill R. Pugh, 82, lifetime resident of Princeton, IN passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at his home in Princeton.

He was born on July 26, 1933 in Princeton, IN to Robert and Grace (McDevitt) Pugh.

He was a US Navy Veteran from 1952-1956. He was a member of the VFW #2714-Ft. Branch and formerly of the VFW #1147-Princeton, Princeton Eagles Aerie #361 and Princeton American Legion Post #25.

He is survived by his sister, Jerry Lea Crouch of St. Albans, WV; nephew, Bill (Debbie) Crouch; niece, Jill Locke all of WV; 5 great nieces and nephew, Hilary Payne, Jessica Diahellos, Sindy Cary, Jenna Locke and Jeffrey Locke; and 4 great-great niece and nephews; and longtime friend, Tawana “Toni” Morrison of Princeton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 infant daughters; son, Jerry Pugh; and a brother, Dennis Pugh.

Bill had requested to be cremated and no services. Burial will be at a later time at Providence Cemetery. Colvin Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
