Ronald I. Lee, 85, of Ft. Branch, Indiana passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Gibson General Skilled Nursing Facility in Princeton.
He was born on August 15, 1930 in Ft. Branch, Indiana to Otto and Maude (Davis) Lee.
He retired after 42 years from Emge Packing Company in Ft. Branch and also drove a school bus for several years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Owensville. He was a US Navy Veteran serving in the Korean War. He was a life member of the VFW #2714 in Ft. Branch. He loved music.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Eaton) Lee of Ft. Branch; 5 children, Chuck (Nichole) Epperson of Ft. Branch, Michael Lee of Evansville, Latricia (Scott) Conklin of Ft. Branch, Theola Darrah of Evansville and Jodie (Ink) Dewig of Haubstadt; 5 grandchildren, Timothy Darrah, Keith Dewig, Ethan, Austin and Landon Conklin; 2 sisters, Evelyn Huff and Vera Gieselman both of CA; brother, Jim (Sherian) Lee of FL; and a sister-in-law, Gerry Davis of Ft. Branch.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Willard Davis and Iden (Evelyn) Lee.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Rev. Bob Douglas. Burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Ft. Branch, IN.
Visitation will be from 12-2 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home. Military Graveside services will be conducted by Ft. Branch VFW #2714.
