Charles E. Green, 76, Columbus, died at 5:45 a.m. Monday, Feb. 8, 2016, at Silver Oaks Health Campus in Columbus.

He was born Nov. 6, 1939 in Princeton, the son of William Embree and Melba E. Robling Green.

He attended Oakland City High School and worked at the furniture store in Oakland City. He had lived in Columbus, since 1987.

Graveside service is at noon Saturday, Feb. 13, at Montgomery Cemetery (Oakland City, IN), Pastor Douglas Low officiating.

Survivors include nieces, Lori Eng of McCordsville and Tana Reid of Jeffersonville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Russell L. Green.
